About the Role
We are looking for a skilled System Engineer with 3–6 years of experience to design, integrate, and validate complex automotive systems across software, hardware, and cloud environments.
This role serves as a critical bridge between system architecture, development teams, and validation activities, ensuring end-to-end functionality, performance, and compliance. Experience in cross-language development (C++/Python) and exposure to Vector tools (CANoe) is highly desirable.
What You Will Do
System Design & Architecture
- Define system requirements, architecture, and interfaces across components
- Translate business and engineering requirements into system-level specifications
- Support system decomposition and allocation to subsystems
- Ensure compliance with ASPICE and functional safety standards
Integration & Development Support
- Coordinate integration of software, hardware, and network components
- Work closely with development teams across domains (software, HIL/SIL, tooling)
- Perform debugging and root cause analysis across system layers
- Enable cross-language integration (C++/Python)
Validation & Testing
- Define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and validation strategies
- Execute validation using MIL, SIL, and HIL environments
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and safety compliance
- Support test automation and regression validation
System Monitoring & Analysis
- Set up and manage logging, telemetry, and diagnostic systems
- Analyze system behavior and identify performance bottlenecks
- Perform network analysis using tools like CANoe, Wireshark
- Drive continuous improvement based on system insights and analytics
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
- Act as a technical point of contact for system-level topics
- Support requirement reviews, defect triaging, and release activities
What You Need to Be Successful
- 3–6 years of experience in automotive system engineering / embedded systems
- Strong programming skills in:
- Good understanding of:
- Operating systems (Linux / RTOS preferred)
- Embedded systems architecture
- Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols:
- CAN
- Automotive Ethernet
- SOME/IP
- TCP/IP, UDP
- D-Bus
- Hands-on experience in:
- System integration and debugging
- HIL / SIL / MIL environments
- Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools or data/automation pipelines (good to have)
Tools & Technologies
- Vector Tools: CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape
- Simulation: MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE, ETAS
- Requirement Tools: DOORS, Polarion
- Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab
- Debugging & Monitoring: Wireshark, trace tools, log analyzers
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Operating Systems: Linux
- Cloud/DevOps (Good to have): AWS / Azure telemetry systems
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience in AI/ML-enabled system validation or data pipelines
- Exposure to cloud-based telemetry and observability systems
- Experience in multi-domain integration (software + hardware + cloud)
- Knowledge of automotive system-level validation frameworks
