We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, cloud-native software solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, distributed systems, and AWS, combined with the leadership skills to mentor engineering teams and drive technical excellence.

As a Technical Lead, you will play a key role in defining system architecture, leading end-to-end software development, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality applications. Working closely with product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams, you will build resilient, high-performance systems while fostering engineering best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and guide software engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and cloud-native system architectures using modern engineering principles.
• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Build and optimize distributed systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Design and manage RESTful APIs, asynchronous workflows, event-driven architectures, and real-time messaging systems.
• Implement and optimize cloud solutions using AWS services such as RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS, and EKS.
• Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and event-streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka to build robust data platforms.
• Improve application performance through efficient algorithms, caching strategies, monitoring, logging, and debugging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to estimate effort, plan releases, manage technical risks, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Conduct code reviews, establish engineering standards, and drive continuous improvements in software quality and development processes.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 7+ years of experience in Software Development, Backend Engineering, or Technical Leadership roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot 3+, and microservices architecture.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, system design, and cloud-native application development.
• Experience working with AWS cloud services, including RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS, and EKS.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Apache Kafka, and event-driven architectures.
• Good understanding of data lakes, lakehouse architectures, batch processing, and stream processing concepts.
• Excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and application performance optimization.
• Experience implementing REST APIs, asynchronous processing, caching, monitoring, logging, and debugging solutions.
• Proven leadership experience mentoring engineering teams and driving technical decision-making.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced development environment.
