Software QA Engineer( 2+yrs Experience)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software QA Engineer with approximately 2 years of hands-on experience in software testing. In this role, you will be responsible for validating new features, verifying software stability, and ensuring seamless integration across systems. You will play a critical role in upholding our software quality standards through meticulous test planning, execution, and communication with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Comprehensive Test Plans:
Design and document detailed test strategies and plans for new features and existing systems, ensuring full coverage and traceability.

Execute Test Cases and Manage Schedules:
Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing based on defined test cases. Manage testing cycles to align with sprint and release schedules.

Identify and Report Issues:
Detect, document, and report bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues using tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Work closely with developers to resolve them.

Ensure Seamless Integration:
Test API integrations, third-party systems, and internal tools to ensure consistent behavior and system compatibility.

Recommend UI/UX Improvements:
Analyze usability issues and propose improvements to enhance the user experience based on testing insights and user feedback.

Collaborate and Communicate Effectively:
Engage in agile ceremonies, communicate testing progress, blockers, and findings, and work independently while keeping stakeholders informed.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2+ years of experience in manual and/or automated software testing.

Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, Postman, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

Basic understanding of API testing, SQL queries, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Clear and concise verbal and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).

Experience in mobile or web application testing.

Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plus.
