Role – Software Security Engineer (Mid Level)

Experience: 4–6 Years

Role Summary

Support implementation of SSDLC controls and DevSecOps practices within client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security tools in CI/CD (SAST, SCA, DAST, secrets)
• Support vulnerability triage and remediation tracking
• Assist in secure coding and basic threat modeling
• Support cloud, API, and container security checks
• Help identify risks in AI-assisted development

Behavioural & Project Skills

• Good team collaboration and communication
• Strong execution and ownership of tasks
• Ability to work in Agile / sprint-based environments

Required Skills

• Experience with DevSecOps / AppSec tools
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10
• Basic cloud and CI/CD understanding

Certifications

Preferred: CEH / Security+
Good to Have: CSSLP (Associate), AWS/Azure Fundamentals, eJPT

Start: Immediate to 15 Days
