Software Tester ( 4 - 6 Years ) ( Automation | Manual )

Job Description

We are looking for a Software Tester with 4–6 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and automation frameworks while ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.


• Create test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business requirements.


• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and API Testing.


• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium with Java or Python.


• Validate REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.


• Log, track, and verify defects using Jira or other bug tracking tools.


• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to resolve issues.


• Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and release validation.


• Ensure software quality by identifying risks and recommending improvements.

Required Skills

• 4–6 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.


• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.


• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.


• Experience with Java or Python for automation scripting.


• API Testing using Postman or Rest Assured.


• Good understanding of SQL/MySQL for database validation.


• Experience with Jira, TestRail, or similar test management tools.


• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.


• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Performance Testing (JMeter) / (Postman).


• Exposure to Mobile Testing or Cross-browser Testing.


• Knowledge of Docker, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
