Software Testing Engineer- Automotive

Role & Responsibilities-

• Design, execute, and automate test cases for embedded automotive software modules including CAN, UDS, AUTOSAR, and diagnostic protocols.


• Validate functional and non-functional requirements across ECUs, HMI, and vehicle network systems using HIL/SIL test benches.


• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, CAPL, or Vector tools to ensure continuous regression coverage.


• Collaborate with firmware and system engineers to reproduce, isolate, and triage defects—tracking them through JIRA or equivalent issue trackers.


• Conduct static code analysis, memory leak checks, and timing validation for safety-critical automotive applications.


• Author test plans, reports, and traceability matrices aligned with ISO 26262 and ASPICE compliance workflows.
