We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Solution Architect – SAP SD to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will bring 14+ years of SAP expertise with strong domain knowledge in SAP SD, SAP HANA, and S/4HANA. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to design, architect, and implement complex business solutions in procurement, sales, and distribution. The Solution Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and compliant SAP solutions.

This position offers the opportunity to shape critical technology decisions, lead large-scale implementations, and enable digital transformation initiatives for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture & Design
• Lead the design and implementation of SAP SD solutions on S/4HANA platforms.
• Ensure that proposed solutions align with business objectives and overall enterprise architecture.
• Architect scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly with other SAP modules such as PP, QM, and PM.
• Implementation & Integration
• Drive at least one end-to-end S/4HANA implementation with strong hands-on expertise in SD.
• Implement and support GST, E-Invoicing, and E-Way Bill integrations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate SAP with third-party systems, ensuring smooth business operations.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
• Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders, ensuring alignment of technology solutions with business goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of SAP solutions, providing guidance, mentorship, and subject matter expertise.
• Communicate solution designs, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Governance & Best Practices
• Establish and enforce SAP best practices, design principles, and coding standards for the delivery teams.
• Ensure solutions are designed for high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Conduct design reviews, quality checks, and audits to ensure successful delivery.
• Continuous Improvement
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and industry trends.
• Proactively recommend improvements, new features, or optimizations to existing systems.
• Collaborate with leadership to define long-term technology roadmaps and transformation journeys.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 14+ years of SAP experience with strong specialization in SAP SD, SAP HANA, and S/4HANA.
• At least 8–10 years of core SAP SD experience with one or more full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
• Solid functional knowledge of PP, QM, and PM modules.
• Proven track record in architecting and delivering complex procurement and sales solutions.
• Expertise in GST, E-Invoicing, and E-Way Bill integrations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage solution delivery.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
