Solution Engineer

Position Summary: 

A Solution Engineer specializing in power system simulation using AI designs advanced solutions to model, analyze, and optimize energy systems. They leverage AI and machine learning to simulate grid behavior, predict energy demand, and enhance system reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities of role)

• Design AI-driven simulation models for power systems (grid operations, load forecasting, renewable integration).
• Implement machine learning algorithms for predictive maintenance and fault detection.
• Integrate AI tools with power system software (e.g., PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory).
• Optimize energy distribution and grid performance using real-time data and AI analytics.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and cybersecurity protocols.

What You Bring (required qualifications and skills)

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Certifications: AI/ML certifications (e.g., TensorFlow Developer), energy-specific certifications.
• Experience: 5+ years in power systems and AI-driven simulation projects.
• Expertise in power system simulation tools (PSS/E, PowerFactory, MATLAB/Simulink).
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Knowledge of energy systems, grid modeling, and renewable energy integration.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
