Solution Specialist - Datacenter

## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe main responsibility of the Solution Specialist is to design and support implementation of data center infrastructure solutions for Eaton\u2019s MTDC customers \u0026 map Eaton offerings to customer requirements \n\"\u2022 Support Strategic Accounts in India, aiding technical design and positioning Eaton related products in a preferred position \n\u2022 Act as the primary point of contact for technical and engineering support for the in-house engineering staff and design teams at the MTDCs \n\u2022 Serve as a technical expert within the Strategic Accounts Team, offering comprehensive support to Sales engineers and account managers for Eaton\u0027s full portfolio, including UPS, LVA, MVA, STS, RPP, Cooling, Power monitoring \u0026 Control products including DCIM software, and White space solutions \n\u2022 Aid the Strategic Accounts Team on large bids including submittals drawings, technical interpretation, and interfacing with the consultant and owner \n\u2022 Arrive at the costing and financial estimation of the proposed solution, and work with the Strategic Accounts team to submit the winning bid while honoring the gross margin expectations of the company. \n\u2022 Facilitate technical collaboration between Multi-Tenant Data Centers and Eaton\u2019s product lines, supporting product innovation and providing design recommendations based on customer needs \n\u2022 Conduct product seminars and training on Eaton products and solutions at targeted consultant firms or MTDCs \n\u2022 Provide mentoring and training to Strategic Account Sales Engineers, Facility Account Managers, Major Account Managers, and other employees within and outside of the NAS organization \n\u2022 Work closely with the field team to arrive at the Root Cause Analysis for problems faced post deployment and work with the product team to have permanent fix for the same.\" \n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBachelor in Engineering with 15+ years experience \n\"\u2022 10+ years of experience in Datacenter infrastructure engineering or data center operations at an MTDC, with at least 3 years in a design role \n \n\n\n## Skills:\n\n\u2022 Proven track record in managing global data center or colocation deployments at scale. \" \n\"Ability to interface with electrical consultant principals and lead electrical engineers, as well as facility engineers at data centers \n\u2022 Proven capability to find creative solutions to solve complex technical application problems \" \n\"\u2022 Problem solving skills \n\u2022 Effective communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization, including consultant or end user organizations \n\u2022 Presentation and training skills - Initiative and self-management skills \n\u2022 Value selling experience.\"\n
