About this role

Udemy is looking for a Senior Solution Engineerwith excellent communication and organization skills, knowledge and experience with software development practices and techniques, and a strong passion for helping businesses become modern “learning organizations”. The Solution Engineer will work closely with Udemy’s internal Partnerships and Business Development team to focus on generating new business and ensuring the growth of existing solutions.

What you'll be doing

Support the Business Development and Technology Partnerships team as their primary Udemy Product expert. Leading technical discovery sessions, and driving Udemy solutions with Partners, and internal teams.

Serve as the technical subject matter expert on all aspects of the Udemy Product. Web App to API integrations and User Account Management

Document business cases/requirements, with reference architectures as needed, to effectively communicate success metrics and communicate to internal stakeholders (e.g., Product and Engineering)

Create externally and internally facing solutions including documentation such as deployment playbooks, best practices, and API integration capabilities, and Use Cases.

Collaborate across Udemy teams, especially CS, Sales, Product, and Sales Engineering teams, to run effective beta programs for new features, providing timely feedback to internal teams on Partners' (and/or Customers') requirements, to drive the growth of our Partner ecosystem (e.g., net new integration services)

What you’ll have

8-10 years of enterprise Solution Engineering and Consulting experience in a SaaS organization

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or an equivalent degree and experience

You are passionate about education and technology, and are driven to build effective solutions to our Partners (and Customers) and enable them to easily and effectively engage Udemy’s learning solutions

Solid understanding and working experience with Web authentication architectures and protocols (e.g., SAML 2.0, SCIM, OAuth/OpenID Connect),

Architecting and deploying SAML 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, Active Directory, LDAP, OAuth 2 REST API, GQL
