Job Description - Solutions Implementation Consultant

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engaging Product Demonstrations & Sales: Deliver compelling product demonstrations to prospective clients, seamlessly integrating professional services into each sale to showcase value and drive success.
  • Customer Onboarding & Team Collaboration: Coordinate and lead dedicated team meetings with new clients, ensuring smooth installation and configuration of Implementer that lays the foundation for a successful partnership.
  • Proactive Customer Support & Upgrades: Guide existing clients through product upgrades with assurance and expertise, ensuring a seamless experience that enhances system performance.
  • Product Health Check Consulting: Lead insightful consulting sessions aimed at optimizing customer productivity and ensuring each system’s health is at its peak.
  • Comprehensive Product & Application Support: Deliver outstanding technical support and application services to both Implementer customers and our global network of partners.
  • Innovative Technical Collaboration: Contribute to our R&D SCRUM team by offering technical support and creative problem-solving when time permits, playing a vital role in the innovation process.

Requirements – Non-Technical

  • Customer-Centric Insight: Understand and empathize with customer needs, translating them into detailed Statements of Work that clearly communicate the scope, timeline, and requirements for each project.
  • Multitasking Proficiency: Excel at managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate confidence through strong verbal and written communication skills and connect effortlessly with internal teams and global clients.
  • Independence & Accountability: Operate independently while aligning with shared team goals and the broader mission.
  • Commitment to Customer Satisfaction: Always prioritize both internal and external customer satisfaction, ensuring every interaction reinforces our service excellence.

Requirements – Technical

  • IBM i Development Expertise: Bring direct experience with IBM i environments—hands-on experience in RPG, CLI, RDi, and working with VS.Code for IBMi is highly valued.
  • Change Management Familiarity: Preferably, have experience with change management software, with a special emphasis on PTC Implementer.

Basic Qualifications

  • IBM i Development Experience: Demonstrated technical skills and hands-on experience in IBM i development.
  • Technical Support & Software Development Background: Proven experience in delivering technical support, offering service-driven solutions, and engaging in software development.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English to effectively collaborate across diverse teams and client bases.
