We are seeking a proactive Solutions Sales Engineer to act as the bridge between technology and business for industrial and manufacturing clients. This role combines strong technical expertise with consultative sales skills, enabling you to understand client requirements, design tailored solutions, and drive the complete sales process from lead generation to deal closure. You will work closely with internal product and engineering teams to ensure solutions are technically sound, commercially viable, and deliver measurable value to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Technical Expertise
Understand client requirements across industrial, manufacturing, and textile sectors to recommend optimal solutions from our product portfolio.
Conduct technical presentations, live product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and aligned with client expectations.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling value propositions for non-technical stakeholders.
Sales & Business Development
Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within target industries.
Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle, including lead generation, negotiation, proposal creation, and contract closure.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders to ensure repeat business and account growth.
Track competitor offerings, emerging technologies, and market trends to inform sales strategy and product positioning.
Client Engagement & Support
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients throughout the sales process.
Support post-sales teams during solution deployment and implementation to ensure seamless handover.
Collect and communicate customer feedback to internal teams to improve product features, usability, and solution offerings.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E /
B.Tech) – Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
0–4 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, solution consulting, or application engineering.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical solutions persuasively.
Ability to travel frequently for client visits, demonstrations, and industry events.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
Preferred
Experience in industrial automation, machine vision, manufacturing technology, or related sectors.
Familiarity with CRM systems, sales reporting, and pipeline management.
Exposure to OEM sales channels, distributor networks, or B2B enterprise sales models.
Knowledge of technical textiles or other specialized manufacturing processes.
