Special Educator

• Conduct assessments to identify developmental, cognitive, or learning delays.
  

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each child’s specific needs.
  

• Use multisensory and inclusive teaching strategies to support learning.
  

• Track and document student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  

• Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  

• Guide and support parents/caregivers on how to reinforce learning at home.
  

• Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training programs.
  

• Foster a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
  

Requirements

• Experience in early intervention or working at a child development centre.
  

• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools.
  

• Ability to plan group activities that support both academic and social development.
