Job Description - Specialist Engineering - QA

End to end responsibility for the quality assurance of software products. Domain expert who is highly skilled in
Automated and Manual testing strategies,

Key Responsibilities:
Understanding the business and non-functional requirements.
End to end responsibility of ensuring the release adheres to the quality standards from basic level of testing to UAT.
Upkeep of the QA environment and creation and securing of test data.
Studying the test strategies and test plans.
Creating test scenarios and cases.
Implementing test automation using suitable tools and frameworks.
Executing tests.
Coordinating with developers for defect resolution.
Maintaining the test environment.
Ability to collaborate with the Business, Stakeholders, Product and Engineering teams to understand the requirement and provide the assurance that the delivery meets the acceptance criteria.
Communicating with the relevant stakeholders, which includes reporting status.
Part of Agile ceremonies and daily stand-up.

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Manual/Automation Testing.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
Experience in Web Based Application Testing.
Experience in understanding the Requirements.
Experience in Test Scenarios and Test Cases preparation.
Experience in Test Execution, Defect Tracking and Test Result Reporting.
Experience in all testing types (Functional Testing, Regression Testing, System Integration
Testing, GUI Testing, User Acceptance Testing...)
Experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
Good in Communication skill.
Experience or Knowledge on Automation testing.
Experience (or) Exposure in Performance Testing using the test automation tool JMeter.
