Specialist - Pricing

Role Summary

The Pricing Specialist is the end-to-end owner of the Pricefx platform, managing pricing data, logic, and system alignment with Sage and future SAP. The role supports Sales with quote analysis and approvals, partners with Finance on margin reporting, and works with Engineering to drive data-based pricing decisions. As the internal Pricefx expert, the specialist ensures accurate pricing execution and defends pricing strategies to support business performance.

Main Tasks

Operational Duties:

• Manage pricing for sales orders, scheduling agreements, and contracts in SAP


• Develop, implement, and monitor pricing strategies to maximize revenue and margin.


• Analyze pricing data, customer behaviour, and market trends to identify opportunities.


• Handle pricing issues where orders are blocked due to missing/incorrect pricing


• Administer Pricefx and integrate it with SAP pricing processes


• Support OEM/customer-specific pricing models, rebates, and agreements


•  Partner with sales teams to provide pricing guidance and deal structuring support.


• Streamline quote-to-cash processes and improve pricing turnaround time.


•   Support contract pricing, rebates, and special pricing agreements.


•  Develop and maintain sales dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Sales and Customer Service- Primary source of incoming requests. Quote support, pre-approval analysis, pricing exceptions.


• Finance / Controlling-Requests data, reports and margin analysis. Expects structured, accurate output


• Engineering-Source of product and feature data needed as inputs for pricing decisions. Must be able to ask precise questions and extract what is needed efficiently.

Job Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies)

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).


• Experience in SAGE ERP


• 5–8+ years in pricing, sales operations, or analytics


• Strong hands-on experience with Pricefx


• Experience in SAP pricing (SD module – condition techniques, pricing procedures)


• Strong knowledge of automotive/OEM business models


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.


• Hands-on experience with Pricefx or similar pricing tools


• Understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process
