• Diploma in Mechanical from a reputed University / Institute

• Minimum 60 % marks

Job Role & Responsibilities

Role:

To carry out NVH testing of 2W, 3W 4W  & EV

Should have testing experience in the following areas:

• Noise & vibration measurements


• PBN measurements as per different country standards


• Modal testing of sub-assembly, engine components & frame


• Should have knowledge of EV vehicles


• Should know about the advanced techniques like NSI, TPA, ODS etc


• Operation of Chassis dyno / Engine dyno


• Knowledge about Kaizen

Responsibilities:

• To plan the NVH measurements-based on the requirements/problems and acquire data without any issue


• Check the accuracy & consistency of the data


• Prepare reports related to noise & vibration for durability vehicles


• To perform modal testing of components / frame / sub-assemblies


• Perform PBN test on 2W/3W & 4W

• To meet Time & Quality targets set for the activity.


• Improve existing process using automation / kaizen

Competency Requirements

Technical/ Functional:

•  Should be familiar with automobile vehicle terminology.


•  Good knowledge of testing tools


•  Technical Training in relevant areas as per requirement.

•  Exposure to evaluation systems and process of countermeasures.

Behavioral

• Ability to work in a team

Specific expertise required for functional area :

• Fundamental knowledge related to NVH (Critical)


• Experience on B&K Pulse software or equivalent software


• Exposure modal and ODS analysis


• Experience on carrying out PBN testing


• Operational experience on chassis dyno & engine dyno should be preferable
