Job Role & Responsibilities

Role: Designer

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of 2wheeler rolling chassis components mainly in frame, chassis and other components like (Engine mountings, swingarm, handle bar, wheels, suspension, stands, battery tray etc.,)


• 3D modeling & 2D drawing preparation of parts and subsystems.


• Release of drawings in plm workflow process.


• Participate & resolve vehicle packaging issues like DFM/DFS/DFA/DFMEA.

Competency Requirements

Technical/ Functional:

• Proficient in UG NX (solid, surface, sheet metal, assembly, drafting modules) and Team center.


• Relevant automotive industry experience with expertise in sheet metal, casting and forging part design.


• Strong knowledge of product design guidelines and manufacturing processes, specifically for sheet metal and Casted parts.


• Good knowledge in GD&T and tolerance stack up analysis.

Behavioral

• Collaboration, Positive approach, soft spoken and Confidentiality.

Specific expertise required for functional area :

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deliverables efficiently.
