Role Summary

The Property Preservation Specialist will order property preservation inspections, reports, approve / deny repairs, and other functions.

Roles & Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

  • Ensures all property inspection orders are placed/ returned based on internal guidelines.

  • Monitors property preservation inspections and reports for securing and preserving properties.

  • Reviews and reconciles reports as received.  Monitors reports for vacancy, disaster areas, code violations, high risk, etc.

  • Ensures property preservation of all properties as per investor/HUD guidelines.

  • Provides hands-on approach as it relates to internal processes and vendor management.

  • Provides recommendations for procedural changes and improvements as they pertain to the department.

  • Stays abreast of changes to federal and state mortgage laws and regulations affecting the operation.

  • Stays abreast of market conditions and advises management of trends, etc.

  • Ensures timely and accurate reports are received for distribution.   

Stakeholder Management

  • Communicates with vendors daily.

    2.      Liaise with the operations team, vendor management team, and auditors to resolve any exception, as and when required

    3.      Communicate with US team members and local leaders to resolve issues and maintain a smooth flow of processes

Governance & Compliance

1.      Establish proper records, approvals, documentation, and audit trails for all transactions

2.      Ensure adherence to the implementation of effective governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks

3.      Manage issues to mitigate impact and risk by early detection of risk items & active team involvement
