Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) developer with good Database and UNIX knowledge

JD:

·         Strong experience in ETL design, data analysis, ETL logic development, deployment, and support of Data Warehouse solutions using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), SQL, and Unix.

·         Good hands-on experience with Snowflake and strong proficiency in Snowflake SQL.

·         Having good UNIX shell scripting knowledge.

·         Good understanding of fundamental Data-Warehousing concepts such as Dimensional Modelling, Star and Snowflake Schemas, Data marts, deployment, FACT and Dimensional tables.

·         Strong skills in Data Analysis, Data Requirement Analysis and Data Mapping for ETL processes.

·         Hands on experience in tuning mappings, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in various levels like sources, targets, mappings and sessions.

·         Extensive experience in ETL design, development, maintenance & optimization of ETL processes for performance.

·         Well versed in developing the complex SQL queries, unions and multiple tables joins and experience with Views.

·         Control M(Scheduling) – Should have basic knowledge in creating control-m jobs and creating dependencies.

·         GIT(Version control) – Should have basic knowledge on maintaining versions via GIT

·         Familiarity with CI/CD processes and DevOps practices - Good to Have

·         Exposure to Cloud Platforms - Good to Have

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for the development, implementation, and support of ETL processes and data warehouse solutions using Informatica IDMC.

·         Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data integration solutions.

·         Design, develop, optimize, and troubleshoot ETL workflows and mappings.

·         Develop and optimize complex SQL queries with a strong understanding of database concepts.

·         Develop, maintain, and enhance Unix shell scripts to meet business requirements.

·         Support and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment, automation, and operational stability across environments.
