You are a detail-oriented and collaborative individual with a deep understanding of Oracle database technologies. You bring a solution-focused mindset and are comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments. You are committed to maintaining high availability, security, and performance of database systems while engaging with cross-functional teams to implement best practices. Expertise in Oracle versions 11g/12c/19c/21c/23ai, RMAN, ASM, RAC, and Data Guard. Strong knowledge of Oracle architecture and upgrade methodologies. Familiarity with Oracle Cloud technologies. Experience in Linux/Unix environments. Understanding of incident, change request, and task management processes. Proficiency in at least one ticketing tool. Oracle 12c/19c Certification preferred. RAC Administration Certification is an added advantage. Manage and troubleshoot daily database build activities. Support Oracle Uplift Programme through upgrades, patching, and performance tuning. Consult on new database designs for operating companies. Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle products. Provide performance recommendations to development and planning teams. Execute database migrations including cross-platform, RAC, and ASM transitions. Administer RAC and ASM technologies across standalone and clustered environments. Maintain ASM disks and diskgroups. Work with Oracle Cloud platforms. Utilise Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and management. Apply shell scripting for automation and efficiency. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage tasks using ticketing tools.
