Job Title: Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Manager to lead our global SQA team. The primary responsibility of the SQA Manager is to deliver high-quality product releases in the fastest possible time. This role has a strategic focus and will unify SQA practices, capabilities, and personnel across our locations and product portfolio. The SQA Manager will work closely with Global Leadership, Product Managers, Project Managers, and delivery teams to ensure product goals are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Release Management:

- Deliver high-quality product releases across our entire portfolio.

- Operational Excellence:

- Continually refine SQA operations to achieve fast turn-around times, optimizing test strategies, use cases, test cases, testing phases, automation, and the use of our global locations.

- Technology and Tool Implementation:

- Lead the selection and implementation of cutting-edge SQA technologies, tools, and methodologies.

- Global Team Leadership:

- Create, supervise, and manage a unified global SQA team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

- Metrics and Reporting:

- Define and automate metrics collection and reporting to drive quality, performance, impact, stakeholder engagement, and informed decision-making.

- Resource and Cost Management:

- Manage the cost, schedule, and performance of the software quality team, ensuring optimal resource utilization.

- Strategic Contribution:

- Assist the Sr. VP of Products, Design & Technology in developing the technical vision and roadmap for delivering quality products.

Required Experience and Skills:

- Extensive SQA Experience:

- 15 years’ experience in SQA, leading SQA teams, defining and executing strategy.

- Educational Background:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, MIS, or an Engineering discipline.

- QA Best Practices:

- Proven experience in implementing best practices for QA techniques, including test case creation, testing methodologies, and defect management processes.

- Automated Testing Proficiency:

- Proficiency in using automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficiency.

- Strategic Planning:

- Experienced in developing strategic plans for QA processes and evaluating their effectiveness. Ensure alignment with organizational goals.

- Technical Expertise:

- Direct experience with SQA for Web, SaaS, Cloud, and on-premise implementations.

- Agile Delivery:

- Experience delivering in an Agile environment, utilizing CI/CD pipelines, and managing iterative/periodic release schedules.

- Global Team Leadership:

- Proven experience in leading and developing global teams.
