Sql/Snowflake Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic SQL/Snowflake Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of Enterprise Integration Strategies and a strong background in designing SaaS/API first approaches to integrations. The role demands close collaboration with various cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and develop efficient solutions that adhere to the highest security standards. The candidate should also be adept at performing unit testing and quality assurance to ensure business requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and evangelize Enterprise Integration Strategies
  

• Understand functional and technical requirements.
  

• Design in SaaS / API first approach to integrations.
  

• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to define and determine integration requirements. Define a plan to deliver foundational services to enterprise integration footprint including logging, monitoring, observability, and adherence to security standards.
  

• Develop efficient exception handling and error notification processes to monitor, reprocess error transactions.
  

• Participate in technical design sessions and develop detailed technical solution documentation that is aligned with client business objectives.
  

• Perform unit testing/QA of development to ensure the business requirements are being met as requested.
  

• Create and maintain operational, architectural, and design documentation.
  

• Effectively handle multiple tasks at the same time and take ownership of the projects that you are working on.
  

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  

• Extensive experience with SQL and Snowflake. 
  

• Strong understanding of Enterprise Integration Strategies. 
  

• Proficiency in designing integrations with a SaaS/API-first approach. 
  

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  

• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, observability, and security standards. 
  

• Experience in developing efficient error handling and notification processes. 
  

• Excellent documentation skills. Strong multitasking and project management abilities. 
  

Preferred Qualifications: 

Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field and also certifications in relevant technologies.
