Responsibilities:

 To drive business growth in Cheese category by supporting the sales teams and customers in launching winning products that meet local consumers’ needs in terms of taste, functionality, and affordability. This role will provide technical guidance and support to the local sales organization and act as strong technical referent in front of the customers to offer value co-creation with innovative cultures and enzymes solution for various types of cheeses.

Define and carry out the technical service plan, in collaboration with sales and account managers

Develop new prototypes, concepts, products, and applications in cheese category by working closely with the Head technical

·       To manage customer complaints by providing technical advice & troubleshooting and act as a technical expert in the field

Organize and lead trials for validation of (new/improved) products in customers’ production facilities in a safe manner.

·       To develop business in the areas of cultures & enzymes through technical workshops and campaigns

·       Conduct plant audits and line study to identify & resolve bacteriophage issues at the customer sites

The role requires extensive travelling respective locations in South Asia for the purpose of Plant Trials, Technical Trainings, Troubleshooting etc.

Other tasks:

·       To contribute for Product Development & support innovations.

·       Support in implementing, maintaining and improving ISO 22000:2018 system through world class best practices

·       To handle customer complaints related to technical issues

1.      Cheese Customers

6.      Food Research Associations

Industrial/technical background

Dairy/Food Technologist with work experience in cheese Production/Quality/ R&D

Relevant educational backgrounds:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Dairy/Food Science or related subject with specialization in Dairy Technology

Relevant professional skills:

Experienced and passionate with food cultures, enzymes, and cheese products

Understanding of industrial set up and Good Manufacturing Practices

·       Creative, innovative, able to grasp new ideas and implement solutions.

·       Excellent technical knowledge of dairy / food manufacturing across a wide range of products.

·       Ability to work with a multi-cultural workforce

Years of relevant experience:

·       Total dairy / food industry experience 8-10 years

Language requirements and proficiency level:

·       Fluent in English language, oral, written and reading skills

Personal/behavioral skills

1.      Strong presentation and mutual communication skills.

2.      Positive and professional attitude with attention to detail conversant with world class best practices

3.      Team player who has the ability to influence Managers at all levels

4.      Enthusiastic and highly motivated to be able to meet the deadlines

5.      Self-starter be capable of working alone without supervision
