Job is primarily responsible to supervise and manage the Maintenance of all the equipment of Aseptic Packaging lines in respective shifts and ensure continued availability of plant machinery for production at plant.

What you will do

Principal Accountabilities

• Supervise maintenance of all plant machinery in respective shifts.  
• Ensure max availability of plant machinery for packaging lines.
• In addition to above, ensure proper functioning of all the utility equipment’s, utility distribution systems and inside the process area, including fork lifts.
• Initiate to attend all the machinery break downs in minimum possible time with proper root cause analysis.
• Execute the work assigned by In-charge maintenance for the shift and maintain records of the job.
• Maintain records of spare parts and consumable used during the shift and communicate the same to In-charge to initiate purchase and replenishment of ready use stock.
• Co-ordination with Production shift in-charges of Main plant and UHT plant to confirm production plans for proper planning of maintenance activities including TPMS as well as Daily care and Weekly care.
• Keep Maintenance In-charge informed about happenings during the respective shifts. Ensure compliance of ISO & HACCP during day to day / shift activities. Ensure continuous improvement with regards to maintenance / Human & Food safety by reading manuals as well as taking help of In-charge for any new activities.
• Strive towards the common goals of the organization in consultation with Team advisor.
• Execution of process excellence ideas in consultation with TA Maintenance.
• Sustain 5S concept.

Critical Challenges

• Take independent charge of shift with respect maintenance at Main plant.
• Effectively communicate with superiors & subordinates about the new developments, problems faced, work done during the shift.
• To monitor LMME, PTU and OEE of the lines, as take respective actions as and when required with the help of TA maintenance.
• Ability to effectively organize manpower and materials to attend defects.

What you need to succeed

• B. Tech/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics Engineering

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Tetra Pak

• Ability to identify and resolve issues/opportunities

• Must have a proven track record of demonstrating technically

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Self-motivated and team player
