Sr Associate/Managin g Associate -Transaction Tax

About The Company:

The Organization is a boutique law firm specializing in the areas of Corporate International Tax, Transfer Pricing, GST, Customs & Trade, with expertise in litigation services, controversy management, strategic transaction advisory, and policy.

Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on tax implications of M&A, inbound/outbound investments, and
  corporate restructuring.
  
• Conduct due diligence and identify tax risks and opportunities in transactions.
  
• Structure transactions to optimize tax efficiency while ensuring compliance with
  applicable laws.
  
• Draft and review transaction documents from a tax perspective.
  
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and assist in obtaining necessary approvals.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Chartered Accountant or Law graduate with specialization in tax.
  
• More than 3 years experience in transaction tax advisory, preferably in firms that have a
  established Transaction Tax Practice.
  
• Strong understanding of Income Tax Act, Foreign Exchange Management Act, Securities
  and Exchange Board of India regulations, and other tax principles necessary to perform
  this role appropriately
