Sr Automation Engineer - 5 to 10 years - Chennai

• Design, script, configure and run performance tests to validate system performance and stability.
  


• 
  Analyze tests results and work with developers to identify performance bottlenecks and development enhancements.


• 
  Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and work with developers on corrective actions.


• 
  Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability.


• 
  Track and manage performance issues to resolution.


• 
  Oversee system performance lifecycle and identify key metrics for performance improvements.

Requirements

• Knowledge/experience in application development/scripting in one or more of the following - C#/Java/Groovy/PowerShell/Python
  
  Experience working in Loadrunner, JMeter and other commercial/open source tools.


• 
  Knowledge of performance benchmarks and some profiling/APM tools.


• 
  Knowledge of hardware performance characteristics (storage subsystems, memory subsystems, networks, etc).
