Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.\n\n## This role in summary\n\nSupport Plastic Part Design and development with the help of Autodesk Moldflow Injection Molding Simulation.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nTechnical Expertise:\n\n 1. Pro\ufb01cient in Injection Molding Simulation(Cool+Fill+Pack+Warp in MP, DD \u0026 3D mesh) using Autodesk Mold\ufb02ow s/w.\n\n 2. Master in meshing of plastic components and Mold Cooling systems using Altair-Hypermesh and Mold\ufb02ow.\n\n\n\n\nRequired Technical Experience:\n\n 1. Should have good knowledge of Injection Molding Process.\n\n 2. Should have good knowledge of Mold Design Concepts.\n\n 3. Should have good knowledge of Polymer Materials rheology and Thermodynamics\n\n 4. Should have experience in Plastic Part and Mold Development Process.\n\n 5. Should have experience of resolving injection molding problems like weld lines,sink marks,warpage using simulation.\n\n 6. Strong Results interpretation and communication skills.\n\n 7. Autodesk Mold\ufb02ow Associate(Bronze) certi\ufb01cation would be desirable.\n\n 8. Should have Basic idea about Design of Experiments,A3 thinking and Robust Product Design Concepts.\n\n\n\n\n## Your responsibilities will include\n\nEducation: M.E / M.Tech / MS Polymer/Production/Mechanical/Tooling Engineering \n\nExperience: 3 to 6 Years \n\nResponsibilities:\n\n 1. Support Plastic Part Design and development with the help of Autodesk Mold\ufb02ow Injection Molding Simulation.\n\n * Design For Tooling Feasibility(DFM) \u0026 Part Design Optimization\n\n * Molding Window and Gate Location analysis\n\n * Mold Filling analysis during the Design Phase-Fill+Pack +Warp\n\n * Mold Filling analysis during Tooling Phase-Cool+Fill+Pack +Warp\n\n 2. Perform plastic part design and molding process optimization using simulation and optimization techniques like Design of Experiments.\n\n 3. Calibrate numerical model based on experimental data and generate correlation.\n\n 4. Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with Global Counterparts i.e design team, materials team,toolmaker and injection molding team to gather inputs as well as share results.\n\n 5. Proactive knowledge documentation and sharing.\n\n\n\n\n## Minimum requirements\n\nKEY DELIVERABLES\n\nPatents/ Research / External presentations :\n\nRigor to publish/present papers in Technical Forums\n\nKnowledge Management :\n\nOpen in sharing knowledge and thoughts\n\nProactive knowledge documentation and sharing within and outside stakeholders\n\n## Preferred skills and experiences\n\nTECHNICAL\n\n 1.
