This role in summary

Responsible for supporting in improvement of structural  robustness of  Products/Projects  through explicit & implicit LS-Dyna Simulations.

Your responsibilities will include

Responsibilities:

1. Can convert physical / field problem into Simulation problem (BC definition) independently. Pro-active knowledge documentation and sharing
2. Perform the Structural simulations, analyze the results, prepare proper report with appropriate conclusions and suggestions to improve the product performance
3. Good in Result interpretation, may need help in design solutions
4. Independently handle projects and deliver solutions to stakeholders
5. Coordinate with different functions and stakeholders for project discussions

Technical Expertise: 

1. Proficient in LS Dyna , explicit and implicit analysis

2. Proficient in component/subsystem/system level simulations using LS-Dyna

3. Proficient in component/subsystem/system level result analysis using LS-Prepost

4. Expert in 2D and 3D meshing of sheet metals and plastics using Altair-Hypermesh.

Minimum requirements

Education: 

         M.tech from Mechanical/Automobile/Aerospace Engineering.

Experience: 2-6 Years 

Key Deliverables 

1. FEM and analysis using LS Dyna and LS Prepost. Candidates should have hands- on experience with explicit and implicit analysis projects

2. Experience on material model selection

3. Should have very good knowledge in FEM theory and numerical methods

4. Should have experience in providing logical and feasible design suggestion based on FEA analysis

5. Experience in selection of element type, mesh size, material properties, element quality check and selection of right material models and parameters

6. Experience in interpreting and understanding FEA results, post- processing and preparing comprehensive analysis reports with design solutions

Preferred skills and experiences

TECHNICAL

1. Knowledge of Strength of Materials and Impact dynamics

2. Knowledge of numerical techniques like Finite Element Method (FEM) and Finite Difference Method (BEM).

3. Basic understanding of material and product testing 

4. Proficiency in Simulation tools like Hypermesh, LS-Dyna, Ansys etc.

5. Results interpretation skills.

6. Patents/ Research / External presentations :

   Rigor to publish/present papers in Technical Forums

   Technical rigor for patent filing and desirable to have patents
