Sr Data Analyst (SQL)

·         Design and
implement advanced SQL queries to extract, transformation, loading using SQL
queries, Views, Procedures and manipulate  large datasets from relational
databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity

·         Conduct thorough
analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business
strategies and operational improvements

·         Collaborate with
stakeholders to define data requirements, establish key performance indicators
(KPIs), and develop reporting solutions

·         Develop and
maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, analytical methodologies,
and reporting processes

·         Mentor junior
analysts and contribute to building a culture of data literacy within the
organization

·         Stay abreast of
industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics and SQL
technologies

Requirements

·         Strong
communication and stakeholder management skills

·         Managing the
end-to-end process encompassing Data analysis, Requirements gathering from
cross functional teams and documenting those

·         Good business/
functional understanding and problem solving, preferably in the credit or
financial (corporate finance) domain.

·         Strong SQL and
T-SQL skills to query and analyze data

·         Understanding SQL
Server structures and business logic, connecting SQL Server data to tools like
Power BI, Tableau

·         Troubleshooting
SQL queries/Procedures and database/Query performance (indexes, execution plans
etc)

·         Handling Data Load
issues with large volume of data

·         BI reporting and
dashboarding using Power BI

·         Data Engineering –
mainly from SQL server(back-end side), extraction, transformation, loading
using SQL queries, Views, Procedures
