Sr. Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of seasonal collections aligned with brand/customer requirements, ensuring high performance, creativity, and timely execution of all developments for export markets.
  
• Develop design strategies (mood boards, concepts, and design presentations) and collections based on global trends, buyer briefs, and market intelligence in exports.
  
• Conduct structured planning and strategy meetings with the team to ensure clarity of requirements and seamless workflow execution.
  
• Drive end -to -end design processes including concept development, fabric selection, sourcing, sampling, finishing, and packaging with a focus on cost optimization and conversion.
  
• Collaborate closely with international buyers to understand requirements, present collections, and obtain feedback for continuous improvement.
  
• Independently handle design presentations for international clients, ensuring strong visual and commercial impact.
  
• Oversee showroom presentation standards and ensure collections are displayed effectively for buyer interactions.
  
• Support business development initiatives by contributing innovative design ideas and participating in client engagements.
  
• Strengthen supply chain by reviewing vendor (including T2 suppliers) performance and initiating new developments aligned with latest trends.
  
• Ensure proper documentation of design processes, developments, and team progress for tracking and efficiency.
  
• Mentor and guide team members, addressing concerns and fostering a collaborative and growth -oriented environment.
  
• Ensure effective inter -departmental coordination with merchandising and sampling teams for smooth execution.
