Sr. Engineer - Hydraulics

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

A. Hydraulics Fundamentals:
     1. Tractor Hydraulics Fundamentals
     2. Tractor and Hydraulic system architecture
     3. Basic hydraulics components
     4. Basic pressure, flow, and power calculations
     5. Pressure drop concepts due to Piping and hose routings
     6. Basic Hydraulic circuit interpretation

B. Piping System Knowledge:
     1. understanding of Steel tubes,  pipe and Hydraulic hoses routing
     2. Hydraulic Pipe and Hose fittings and connectors, Adaptors and couplings & Clamps and mounting brackets
     3. Knowledge of Tube bending principles
     4. Knowledge of Hose routing guidelines
     5. Knowledge of Vibration isolation practices
     6. Knowledge of seals and Leak prevention techniques

C. Mandatory CAD and Design Skills:
     1. 3D part modelling and 2D drawing generation with Creo and NX software
     2. Basic assembly creation
     3. GD&T fundamentals
     4. Tube routing module preferred
     5. Tractor level Assembly interference checks
     6. BOM structure, Engineering change process and Drawing standards

Experience

3-5 Years

Industry Preferred

Auto /  Auto Ancillary / Tractor industry / Engineering Services Industry will be preference / Hydraulic design Knowledge (preferred)

Qualifications

B. Tech  / BE in  Design preferred and Mechanical / Fluid /  etc.

General Requirements

     1. Ability to Perform root cause analysis
     2. Support design reviews
     3. Analyse hydraulic routing issues
     4. Prepare engineering  and interface reports
     5. Knowledge of DFMEA, DFS, DFA
