Position: Sr. Engineer – STD Room / Lab

Department: Quality Assurance (QA)

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Sr. Engineer for the STD Room / Lab in the Quality Assurance department. The candidate will be responsible for handling standardization activities, laboratory operations, documentation, calibration, and compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily activities of the STD Room / QA Laboratory.

Preparation, labeling, storage, and issuance of working standards and reference standards.

Maintain laboratory instruments, calibration records, and qualification documents.

Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and company quality standards.

Perform analytical activities and support validation/calibration work.

Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records as per SOPs.

Coordinate with QA, QC, Production, and other departments for quality -related activities.

Handle deviations, investigations, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

Ensure housekeeping and safety compliance in the laboratory area.

Support internal and external audits.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or relevant science field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in STD Room / QA Lab operations.

Good knowledge of GMP/GLP documentation practices.

Experience in handling laboratory instruments and quality systems.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Good documentation and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and manage laboratory activities efficiently.
