## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm India Private Limited\n\n## Job Area:\n\nEngineering Group, Engineering Group \u003e Software Engineering\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\nQualcomm PPAT Team is looking for Power and Thermal Engineers to design, analyze, and Optimize Power and provide Thermal solutions for high-power CPU based server-class SoCs. Candidate will work closely with silicon design, power architecture, package, platform, and system teams to ensure reliable power and performance across critical server environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPower Optimization and Thermal Solution Development\n\n * Power Features Enablement, Analysis and Optimizations\n * CPU performance and state management\n * CPU and System Idle state management\n * Power and Performance telemetry\n\n\n * Define and evaluate thermal solutions:\n * Limits management\n * Heat sinks, vapor chambers, cold plates\n * TIM selection and optimization\n * Thermal and Throttling state management\n * Collaborate with platform teams on server mechanical and airflow design.\n\n\n * Support power-thermal co-optimization during silicon bring-up.\n\n\n\nValidation \u0026 Correlation\n\n * Define and execute power and thermal execution plans:\n * Lab measurements (power breakdown, thermocouples)\n * Power virus and workload-based testing\n * Correlate simulation vs lab data and drive design improvements.\n\n\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\n\n * Partner with:\n * Silicon design \u0026 power teams\n * Platform, BIOS, and firmware teams\n * External ODM/OEM and cooling vendors\n * Provide thermal guidance during platform bring-up and customer engagements.\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. \n \n\u2022 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nEducation\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.\n\n\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
