Sr. HR Executive

About the Role

This role will own performance management, employee engagement, culture, and people management across GalaxEye. You will work closely with leadership, vertical heads, managers, and employees to build a high-performance and people-centric organization.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Management

• Own the end-to-end performance management cycle.
  
• Drive goal setting, KRAs/KPIs, reviews, and feedback cycles.
  
• Track completion of performance reviews across teams.
  
• Work with managers on performance feedback and improvement plans.
  
• Identify performance trends and recommend interventions.
  
• Maintain performance records and documentation.
  

Employee Engagement & Culture

• Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives.
  
• Plan team-building activities, employee events, and engagement programs.
  
• Conduct employee pulse checks, surveys, and regular check-ins.
  
• Identify engagement and culture-related concerns.
  
• Work with leadership to improve employee experience.
  
• Build initiatives that strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
  

People Management

• Act as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers.
  
• Partner with vertical heads on people-related matters.
  
• Support managers with employee concerns and workplace issues.
  
• Facilitate conflict resolution and difficult conversations.
  
• Conduct regular employee check-ins.
  
• Support career development and employee growth.
  

HR Operations & Processes

• Build and improve HR policies, processes, and workflows.
  
• Ensure consistent implementation of HR processes across teams.
  
• Manage employee lifecycle processes from onboarding to exit.
  
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Admin, and leadership on people-related matters.
  
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve HR processes.
  

HRMS & Technology

• Manage employee data and HR processes through HRMS/HRIS platforms.
  
• Hands-on experience with Zoho People is preferred.
  
• Experience with Zoho Recruit and other Zoho applications is an advantage.
  
• Manage attendance, leave, employee records, onboarding, and performance processes through HR systems.
  
• Maintain accurate and updated employee data.
  
• Build HR reports and dashboards for management.
  
• Identify opportunities to automate HR workflows using technology.
  

Learning & Development

• Identify training and development needs across teams.
  
• Coordinate training, workshops, and capability-building programs.
  
• Support leadership and manager development initiatives.
  
• Build employee growth and development frameworks.
  
• Track participation and effectiveness of L&D initiatives.
  

HR Analytics & Reporting

• Track key people metrics including:
  • Performance
    
  • Employee engagement
    
  • Attrition
    
  • Attendance
    
  • Employee development
    
  • HR process completion
    
• Prepare regular HR reports for leadership.
  
• Use people data to identify trends and support decision-making.
  
• Develop meaningful HR dashboards and metrics.
  

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or People & Culture.
  
• Strong experience in performance management and employee engagement.
  
• Experience working with managers and senior leadership.
  
• Strong understanding of employee lifecycle and people practices.
  
• Hands-on experience with HRMS/HRIS platforms.
  
• Zoho People experience preferred.
  
• Zoho Recruit experience is an added advantage.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Strong stakeholder and conflict-management skills.
  
• Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with confidentiality.
  
• Strong ownership and execution skills.
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
  
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  
• Experience in a startup, technology, deep-tech, engineering, or high-growth organisation.
  
• Experience setting up or improving HR processes from the ground up.
  
• Experience with employee engagement, organisational development, and culture-building initiatives.
