Sr. Manager - Accounts & Taxation

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to lead the accounting and taxation functions, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements while driving financial efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory frameworks, along with strong leadership and analytical abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Lead daily accounting operations and ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow statements with accuracy.
• Establish and monitor internal financial controls as per Ind-AS and other regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with statutory, tax, and internal auditors for seamless audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Taxation & Compliance

• Oversee timely filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
• Manage direct and indirect tax planning, assessments, appeals, and litigation matters.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, SEZ regulations, and other statutory obligations.
• Handle tax audits, transfer pricing documentation, and represent the company before tax authorities.
• Track regulatory changes and assess financial impact on the business.

Strategic & Financial Planning

• Provide insights for tax-efficient business strategies and financial decision-making.
• Optimize tax incentives, exemptions, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Implement best practices in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Identify financial risks and strengthen internal control mechanisms.
• Manage cash flow planning to ensure operational liquidity and timely reporting to management.

Skills & Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
• Strong expertise in tax accounting, financial planning, and compliance.
• Experience in SEZ regulations, fund management, and financial audit coordination.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence strategic financial decisions.
