Job Description - Sr. Manager - Business Development

## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n\"This role will be responsible for empaneling appropriate Eaton Power solutions (UPS 1P \u0026 3P, Racks \u0026 Accessories, MDC \u0026 Brightlayer solutions) to target consultants, approval organizations, channel partners and end-customers in the region. \n\"1. Act as pre-sales \u201ctechnical consultant\u201d to identify and present the appropriate Eaton Power solutions UPS systems, Racks \u0026 Accessories, MDC \u0026 Brightlayer solutions) to target consultants, approval organizations, channel partners and customers. \n2\\. Enable Consultant Management, Consultant Mapping and Product Approvals through consultants. Calling on consultant, owner, and end user to gain acceptance and promote Eaton into vendor list. \n3\\. Develop an opportunity pipeline at each approved consultant and end-customer and share the same with the sales team. Track and review the opportunity conversion in coordination with the sales leaders. \n4\\. Focus on building large project pipeline. Identify large projects which are at prescription stage. Enroll Eaton as a Vendor (preferred). Push Eaton Product Specs and create a push to allow contractors / end user to ask for Eaton in the bids. \n5\\. Provide support on putting together the bid package for major projects including submittal drawings and interfacing with the customer and project consultants. \n6\\. Be updated on the competitors\u2019 products and solution and prepare competitor comparison to highlight benefits of Eaton products and solutions. \n7\\. Initiate and conduct product trainings and seminars. \n8\\. Develop and Share references and example applications in support of pre-sale opportunities. \n9\\. Provide post-sales support of application development. Support post-sales support in coordinating with the plant on product and quality issues. \n10\\. Provide on-going support to target customers as they upgrade their facilities to ensure customer satisfaction and garner new business. \" \n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBachelor degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering \n7+ years of professional experience in Electrical industry with strong understanding of UPS 1P \u0026 3P, Racks \u0026 Accessories, MDC \u0026 Brightlayer products and solutions and applications in manufacturing, IT/ITeS and Datacenter segments \nMinimum 5 years of experience in Power products Prescription space - working with consultants and key influencers \n \n\n\n## Skills:\n\nStrong communication, project management, and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a dynamic environment.\n
