## The group you\u2019ll be a part of\n\nThe Global Information Systems Group is dedicated to the success of Lam through providing best-in-class and innovative information system solutions and services. Together, we support users globally with data, information, and systems to achieve their business objectives. \n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nAs the India Site Lead \u2013 Client Services, you will:\n\n * Be the primary face of IT for our India sites, ensuring every employee has a reliable, frictionless technology experience every day.\n * Enable productivity and growth at the India sites by keeping end-user services stable, responsive, and aligned to business priorities.\n * Drive a step-change in service quality, improving CSAT/DEX, first-contact resolution, and reducing repeat issues through data\u2011driven actions.\n * Help transition our environment from manual, person-dependent support to one that leverages automation, standardization, and digital experience insights.\n * Represent India user needs into global EUC / Client Services roadmaps, influencing how global platforms and standards land on the ground.\n\n\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\nLead Site IT \u0026 Client Services Operations\n\n * Own day\u2011to\u2011day end\u2011user support for India sites, including deskside/field support, conference room technology, onboarding/offboarding, and executive support.\n * Serve as the single point of accountability for Client Services, partnering closely with business, HR, Facilities, and Security.\n\n\n\nDeliver Operational Excellence\n\n * Ensure services consistently meet SLAs and quality targets using ITSM/DEX insights to track health, volumes, and trends.\n * Reduce tickets by addressing root causes, improving knowledge articles, and expanding self\u2011service.\n * Coordinate with global EUC and platform teams on releases, pilots, OS upgrades, hardware refreshes, and collaboration\u2011tool changes.\n\n\n\nLead and Develop the Team\n\n * Manage and grow the India Client Services team (employees and/or vendors), including staffing, coaching, performance, and skills development.\n * Foster a customer\u2011focused, accountable culture with clear expectations and reliable follow\u2011through.\n * Promote cross\u2011training and collaboration with regional/global teams to improve resilience and reduce key\u2011person risk.\n\n\n\nDrive Continuous Improvement \u0026 Automation\n\n * Use ITSM data, monitoring, and user feedback to identify high\u2011friction areas and lead targeted improvements.\n * Partner with engineering and platform teams to shift from manual fixes to automation, policy\u2011based remediation, and self\u2011service.\n * Champion standardized device builds and processes while accommodating regulatory or operational requirements.\n\n\n\nEnsure Governance, Compliance \u0026 Risk Management\n\n * Maintain compliance with security policies, local regulations, and audit/SOX requirements.\n * Oversee asset management and access controls for joiners, movers, and leavers.\n * Participate in or lead major incident response for India sites, including communication and post\u2011incident reviews.\n\n\n\nVendor \u0026 Financial Management\n\n * Manage local IT vendors, ensuring SLA performance and alignment with security/operational standards.\n * Contribute to or manage site\u2011level Client Services budgets, balancing cost, risk, and user experience.\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\nWe are looking for a hands\u2011on leader who:\n\n * Is customer\u2011obsessed, with strong empathy for end users and a passion for reducing friction in their workday.\n * Has a practical, roll\u2011up\u2011your\u2011sleeves approach\u2014comfortable diving into operational details while still thinking strategically.\n * Communicates clearly with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders, including executives and VIPs.\n * Is data\u2011driven, using metrics and trends to prioritize work and make decisions, not just intuition.\n * Navigates a matrixed, global organization effectively, influencing across functions and time zones without formal authority.\n * Balances global standards with local realities, knowing when to escalate for exceptions and when to push for alignment.\n * Brings strong people leadership skills\u2014coaching, feedback, and talent development are part of how they operate, not an afterthought.\n * Is comfortable in change and transformation, helping teams move from legacy ways of working to more automated, standardized models.\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Bachelor degree or equivalent is required with 6-8 years of management experience. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories \u2013 On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. \u2018On-site Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. \u2018Virtual Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.\n
