SLS provides the technical delivery and analysis to support LCS advisory projects and run Software Asset Management (SAM) related managed services. SAM is a set of proven IT practices that unite people, processes, and technology to control and optimize the use of software across an organization. SAM helps control costs as well as manage business and legal risks, optimize software licensing investments, and align IT with business needs. People Managers are responsible for providing daily support, career development opportunities, employee engagement and performance management. Business Managers are responsible for overseeing service, skills and working practice development, operating processes, and daily task management. Both people and business managers work in close partnership to deliver business outcomes.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003eThe Senior Manager SLS resides within the License Consulting team area of the solutions team and, specifically, within the Software Lifecycle Services team and is a People Manger. The Senior Manager SLS is responsible for managing the delivery of a key part of Insight\u2019s service offerings, providing direct and indirect deliverables, connecting with other delivery teams, managing the service delivery and interacting directly with the client on a technology and functional advisory basis\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003eAs a Sr. Mgr services, you\u2019ll be responsible for-\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u00b7 Lead and drive the team, to promote teammate satisfaction through mentoring, development, and career planning, creating a high performing team with a strong succession benchmark, enabling career progression.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u00b7 Contribute to and implement the strategic aims and objectives for SLS and LCS and helps to translate overall budget into appropriate targets for the team.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u00b7 Ensures the effective implementation of new technologies, tools, and services for the benefit of SLS operations\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u00b7 Ensures training and development plans are in place for all team members and these are aligned to overall business objectives and are continually reviewed.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u00b7 Contributes to departmental strategic projects to drive continuous business and increase in client satisfaction.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u00b7 Acts as a strategic technology leader, widely recognized by colleagues, vendors, and clients through pro-active promotion of the LCS practice.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u00b7 Coach, guide, and mentor SLS and LCS teammates and act as a leadership figure for SLS and the practice, to grow LCS and improve the portfolio of key clients.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u00b7 Drives operational excellence and collaborates with wider global teams to ensure processes are effective and well-managed through LCS resources.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u00b7 Work with existing team managers to continually review processes and procedures of services to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u00b7 Engage with clients to pitch Insight\u2019s technology services and SLS offerings, acting as a technical subject matter expert for all technology-related enquires.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u00b7 Attend and present at external events, acting as a SAM subject matter expert and representing Insight in the market.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u00b7 Engage extensively with Marketing to promote campaigns both internally and externally. \u2022 Own Insight\u2019s technology roadmap, carefully selecting vendors, suggesting new partners, and maintaining relations with vendor alliances, managing all contracts and commercial terms regarding technology.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u00b7 Actively participate in offer creation activities, such as the design of services, creation of collaterals, enabling sales teammates via internal communications and providing the tools necessary to sell the technology service to clients.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u00b7 Accountable for articulating and aligning the functional strategy in line with that of the business;
