Sr. Observability Engineer

Provide the ability to gather report and alarm on infrastructure software or hardware for the purpose of ensuring reliable operations of information technology. Support in incident resolution and troubleshooting . Work with customers to gather requirements, propose, engineer, and provision solutions. Install, configure, support, and maintain monitoring solutions Manage system monitoring setup and standardization of features and usage. Maintain systems by keeping them tuned and compliant with company standards for optimum performance and capacity utilization. Maintain standards of operations, such as backups, naming standards, and configurations. Coordinate planned downtime and software installs of your assigned services. Provide 24x7 on-call technical support and expertise for customer issues and service provider escalation. Monitor the environment for potential system issues and resolve appropriately. Adhere to the change management process for any planned maintenance, or when potential issues are identified. Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, OpsRamp, AppDynamics, NetBrain, NetScout & Cisco Catalyst center) Experience with Infrastructure and Application monitoring, Windows, Linux and Cloud Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience in Building dashboards for real-time visibility of system health and performance. Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) Interest in automation tools and infrastructure-as-code Basic scripting knowledge with TypeScript, React, Ansible, and Python scripting Exposure to AI/ML-based anomaly detection and AIOps platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.
