Sr PHP Developer

The Senior PHP Developer will be a part of an innovative team, dedicated to building high-quality, exceptional customer-centric online experiences. Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic in maintaining existing codes, optimizing web applications, and conceptualizing and executing subsequent developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new development tasks as part of a fully integrated team dedicated to high quality PHP websites.
• Collaborate closely with team lead and members to understand and implement functional requirements.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, notably in design, development, testing, and documentation.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain highly responsive web applications for both system and end-users.
• Exercise problem analysis to resolve issues and continuously improve software performance.
• Stay abreast of best practices by researching new tools, as well as enhancing and further developing existing solutions.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with PHP frameworks, MYSQL, AJAX, and JavaScript.
• A thorough understanding of OOP, design patterns, and version control.
• Experience in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.), coupled with a good sense of aesthetics and usability.
• Knowledge of web server optimization techniques and cloud computing platforms.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience with cross-browser compatibility testing.
• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication as well as effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and strong time-management skills are critical.
