Everbridge: a fast-growing global provider of SaaS-based critical communications and enterprise safety solutions currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Proposal Manager to be based in our Bangalore, India office.

About the Team

Everbridge’s Proposal Management team, an integral part of our Sales Engineering team, is a high performing team that is responsible for managing and delivering all proposals crafted by Everbridge. This team is directly involved in many revenue generating activities for Everbridge which encompass both new and existing clients.

About the position

Everbridge is seeking an energetic, multi-tasking, and creative Proposal Manager based in our Bangalore, India office to support our global sales team. The Proposal Manager will serve as an expert on our Public Warning solution and be primarily responsible for building sales proposals, managing RFP responses, answering technical questions, and maintaining the RFP database. The Proposal Manager will also become a strong user of Salesforce.com and provide administrative support for the use of this system.

Job Duties

• Responding to RFI/RFPs and developing other deliverables to support the sales process


• Maintaining the RFP response database and ensuring it is populated with high quality responses


• Liaising with members of the Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams


• Representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.


• Providing administrative support to sales team by leveraging the Salesforce.com platform

Desired Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience completing proposal submissions and/or bid documents


• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or field operations


• Experience responding to RFIs/RFPs


• Exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail


• Prior experience in a technology company


• Experience interfacing with business and technical teams


• High level understanding of internet hosted applications, highly available architectures, computer security, telephony, and networking


• Experience working for or with telecommunication carriers, network equipment providers a big plus


• Experience of working with GSM standards a big plus


• Experience with ISO and ITIL standards documentation a big plus


• Ability to maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced, team environment while managing multiple competing priorities


• Entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity and persuasive confidence


• High energy level and a “can do” attitude


• Strong time management skills with proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite


• Knowledge of Salesforce.com application a plus


• Bachelors in Business, Computer Science or related a plus (not required)
