Sr. Safety Supervisor_Punawale for Real Estate Group(Varma Corp)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Safety Supervisor to oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices across our construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction site safety, legal compliance, and proactive risk mitigation to ensure a safe work environment for all staff, laborers, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  Conduct daily safety inspections and enforce safety protocols at construction sites.

  Develop and implement safety plans in alignment with the BOCW Act, RERA, and local municipal rules.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct risk assessments and site safety audits regularly.

  
  


• 
  

  Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and periodic HSE training for workers and supervisors.

  
  


• 
  

  Investigate and report near-misses, incidents, and accidents using RCA (Root Cause Analysis).

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain safety documentation including checklists, logs, training records, and inspection reports.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure contractors and vendors adhere to site safety SOPs.

  
  


• 
  

  Support fire safety and emergency preparedness drills.

  
  


• 
  

  Liaise with PMC, RERA, labor inspectors, and external auditors during site visits.

  
  


• 
  

  Implement best practices aligned with ISO 45001 and/or OHSAS 18001.

  
  

Candidate Requirements:

• 
  

  Minimum 4 years of experience in site safety within real estate or infrastructure projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Certified in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / Diploma in Safety Management (Preferred).

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of BOCW Act, Factories Act, and relevant safety codes.
