Job Description - Sr. Salesforce Business Analyst

What You'll Do Avalara is looking for Senior Business Systems Analyst to improve, design, and scale our Salesforce Sales Cloud, serving both internal and external partners. This hands-on technical role demands an analytical, data modeling and business analyst background. You will be based in our Pune office with occasional in-office engagements. As an individual contributor, you will report to the Manager of Business Technology. In this role, you will: Manage primary business automations related to marketing, demand generation, sales development, sales, pipeline management, funnel reporting and partner relationship management. Troubleshoot and resolve relevant issues and questions reported by the business. Collaborate with Technical Program Manager and independently gather and document requirements of new initiatives or changes to existing processes/procedures affecting Salesforce Sales Cloud. Write User Stories, including a problem statement with defined trigger points, testing Scenarios and tech recommendations within a JIRA story ticket. Design, implement, test, and deploy declarative solutions affecting Salesforce Sales Cloud modules and determine downstream effects for other connected systems. Initiate and perform UAT with partners, showing clear comprehension of the requested new process flow. Manage important technical initiatives through data analysis on related processes. Evaluate new technological solutions and make recommendations to enhance Salesforce user experience in coordination with the Development Leads and System Architecture. Develop appropriate documentation for architectural, design, technical, implementation and test activities. What You'll Need to be Successful You have at least two or more Salesforce Certifications including Salesforce Administrator and Sales Cloud Consultant. You have 8 or more years of relevant professional experience in supporting and implementing Salesforce at enterprise scale You can connect the impacts relevant processes have on all Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience and CPQ). You have hands-on configuration experience with Salesforce including reporting, user administration, and declarative development using Flow. You are an expert in Sales Cloud-specific configuration including Lead Conversion, Sales Process, Forecasting and Routing. You can create, deploy, and maintain Salesforce custom reports and dashboards and all types of declarative configuration. You have an understanding of the Salesforce Data Model and how objects interact. You have experience with Enstein Predication Builder and other Einstein tools You have experience with Data loader/Salesforce Inspector/Workbench utility and ability to extract data by SOQL query. You are able to create data analysis outside of Salesforce using MS Excel or a reporting system such as PowerBI. You have experience with API integration and common protocols including SOAP, REST. You are comfortable providing end-user support and functional trainings.
