| Position Title SAP EWM Junior Consultant Role Overview We are looking for an SAP EWM Junior Consultant to join our AMS (Application Management Services) support team. The candidate will be responsible for providing Level 1/Level 2 functional support for SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) processes, handling incidents and service requests, supporting business users, and ensuring smooth day-to-day warehouse operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, basic SAP EWM functional knowledge, and the ability to work in a support-driven environment. Key Responsibilities • Provide AMS support for SAP EWM-related incidents, service requests, and problem tickets. • Monitor and resolve support tickets within agreed SLA timelines. • Perform issue analysis, troubleshooting, and coordination with technical teams for resolution. • Support business users in warehouse processes such as: ? Inbound Processing ? Outbound Processing ? Internal Warehouse Movements ? Physical Inventory ? RF Transactions ? Warehouse Monitoring • Coordinate with business users for requirement clarification and issue validation. • Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues. • Support testing activities for enhancements, bug fixes, and SAP changes. • Prepare functional documentation, KT documents, and user guidance materials. • Participate in weekend support/on-call support activities if required. • Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams and other SAP modules. • Ensure timely communication and status updates to stakeholders. Required Skills • 3+ years of SAP EWM functional experience. • Good understanding of SAP EWM business processes and configurations. • Experience in AMS/Support projects. • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics processes. • Familiarity with: ? Warehouse Structure ? Putaway & Picking Strategies ? Storage Types & Bins ? Handling Units ? Queue Management ? RF Framework • Basic understanding of integration with: ? SAP MM ? SAP SD ? SAP ERP/S/4HANA • Experience in ticket handling tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar. • Good communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently in a support environment. Preferred Skills • Experience in ECC and SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM. • Exposure to rollout or implementation projects. • Knowledge of monitoring tools and interface handling. • SAP EWM certification is an added advantage. Educational Qualification • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Additional Requirements • Flexible to work in shifts/on-call support if project demands. • Strong learning attitude and team collaboration skills. Ability to handle critical production support situations calmly and effectively. |
