This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. SAP SD/MM Consultant based in India.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SAP professional to play a key role in delivering enterprise-scale supply chain and order fulfillment solutions for global clients. Working remotely, you will contribute to complex SAP transformation initiatives, including full lifecycle implementations and S/4HANA migration projects. The role combines functional expertise with technical understanding, requiring close collaboration with distributed teams across multiple geographies. You will help optimize business processes, design scalable SAP solutions, and support critical integrations that drive operational efficiency. This position is ideal for a consultant who enjoys solving complex business challenges while working in a collaborative and fast-paced consulting environment.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP SD, MM, and Logistics Execution solutions across end-to-end implementation projects.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP functional designs, configuration, and detailed specifications for custom developments.
- Deliver solutions supporting order-to-cash, procurement, supply chain, logistics execution, shipping, scheduling, stock transport orders, and fulfillment processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations involving SAP and non-SAP systems using technologies such as IDocs, RFCs, and BAPIs.
- Support SAP S/4HANA implementations and migration initiatives, ensuring smooth transition from legacy ERP environments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across CRM, MM, IM, SNC, and related modules to ensure seamless business process integration.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing solutions, share best practices, and contribute to continuous process optimization across projects.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP SD, MM, and Logistics Execution modules, including at least one full lifecycle implementation.
- Strong expertise in SAP order fulfillment, supply chain processes, logistics execution, shipping, scheduling, delivery management, and stock transport orders.
- Experience configuring SAP ERP solutions and producing detailed functional specifications for ABAP custom developments.
- Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA, including migration projects from ECC 6.0.
- Experience integrating SAP with external systems using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and related integration technologies.
- Good knowledge of cross-functional SAP modules including CRM, MM, IM, and SNC.
- Understanding of product structures, BOMs, production models, procurement processes, and end-to-end order-to-cash workflows.
- Ability to review ABAP code and perform basic debugging is considered an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, planning, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable collaborating with remote, globally distributed teams in a consulting environment.
