Sr. Software Development Engineer Test (SDET)

Mission: Live at the intersection of app runtime & security. Protect applications in a fundamental way so that developers can build great application services and not be constantly looking over their shoulder. Bluerock is changing the landscape of App runtime security.

As a BlueRock Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test you will:

• Learn the internals of the BlueRock hypervisor and security features of the product and ramp up quickly

• Develop test-cases and write test programs in C/Python to test security features on different Linux distributions and run performance benchmarking.

• Build custom Linux kernels and OS security tools from sources to test the BlueRock product security features

• Identify functional/performance issues and report them in internal system with all required artifacts

• Participate in technical discussion with teams in Germany and the US

You could be a great fit for this role if you have (Must Haves):

• BE/BTECH/M.TECH (CS/ECE/IS/EEE)

• 6 to 12 years’ experience

• Strong in OS internals

• Strong in virtualization concepts

• Work experience in AWS cloud
  Work experience in Docker and Kubernetes

• Familiar with writing scripts in Shell and Python

• Familiar with Linux and Web application security concepts

• Understanding of how to measure performance and performance overhead (native vs. virtualized)

• Experience in developing test tools in C/C++ to test OS functionality and performance

• Experience in developing test automation framework and scripts in Python

• Good problem analysis and debugging skills.

• Open minded with excellent communication, interpersonal skills and inter-cultural awareness

Nice to have:

• Work experience in testing linux and web application security features.

• Work experience in testing different linux distributions
