Sr. Specialist - Release Manager

Your Roles and Responsibilities include :

• Plan and schedule releases across Databricks, Informatica, MS Fabric, SQL, and Power BI. Coordinate with dev teams, facilitate go/no-go meetings, and manage release windows with all stakeholders.
• Track all affected components across platforms, maintain dependency matrices, perform pre-release impact analysis, and resolve conflicts between interconnected systems.
• Implement Git branching strategies, manage release/hotfix branches, enforce versioning standards, and oversee code freeze periods and emergency procedures.
• Create release notes and runbooks, manage JIRA release workflows, maintain audit trails, and ensure compliance with change management policies.
• Execute deployments per approved runbooks, monitor progress, perform post-release validation, coordinate rollbacks if needed, and conduct post-release reviews.
• Provide status updates to leadership, send release notifications, serve as single point of contact during releases, and bridge technical and business teams.

We expect you to have: (Minimum Qualifications) :

• Minimum of 7-11 years of experience in Release management, preferably in data/analytics environments.
• Proven track record managing releases across multiple platforms simultaneously.
• Must have worked on strong SQL and data engineering concepts.
• Experience with Git branching strategies and version control.
• Demonstrated experience with JIRA and project tracking tools like Microsoft project.
• Previous experience coordinating with distributed development teams.
• Degree qualified in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.  Post graduate degree in a related discipline.
