Micron is also committed to sustainable development, focusing on employee health and safety, environmental quality, and community support.\n\nMain Responsibilities:\n\nReporting to the Director, Global Indirect Procurement, you will play a pivotal role and be responsible in leading procurement \u0026 sourcing efforts for major construction projects in India. You will lead a dedicated team of procurement professionals, partnering with multiple collaborators, responsible for managing the procurement process for major construction projects from start to finish, ensuring best in class. You will participate and actively lead these projects, including reporting to the senior leadership on its progress. Your primary deliverable is to ensure the greatest value of each major construction contract which requires but not limited to, strong sourcing (negotiating), contracting, supplier management skills.\n\nOther Responsibilities:\n\n * Strategic Planning and Execution; Develop comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with the company\u0027s objectives. Plan and initiate new projects, including setting timelines, budgets, and resource allocation\n * Performance Management; Establish \u0026 monitor performance metrics to identify and implement continual improvement opportunities\n * Project Oversight and Management: Oversee multiple construction procurement projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets. Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as necessary. Drive objectives and creating a vision that delivers projects safely, cost effectively and in a timely manner\n * Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management; Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to deliver strategic solutions and coordinate approach to key strategic suppliers\n\n\n\nYou Are:\n\n * Possess a Bachelors\u2019 Degree or above and at least 10 years of work experience in construction and/or procurement specializing in construction\n * An exceptional leader with a proven track record in tendering and contracting for hundreds-million-dollar projects\n * Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives in a highly organized and adaptable manner\n * Excellent communication skills with the ability to work \u0026 collaborate at all levels and influence stakeholders without direct authority.\n * Passionate about driving improvements and achieving operational excellence.\n * The ability to form collaborative partnerships with internal and external partners.\n\n\n\nAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
