Roles and Responsibilities :

Strategic Analytics & Insights

n Lead end-to-end analysis of underwriting, claims, and
 policy performance across commercial and
 personal P&C lines, as well as healthcare-related
 products (e.g., medical malpractice, workers
' comp, employer health plans).

n Build and interpret risk models to forecast loss
 frequency/severity, pricing adequacy, and exposure
 trends.

n Deliver executive-level insights to support product
development, reinsurance strategy, and risk
transfer initiatives.

Portfolio & Risk Management

n Monitor and evaluate portfolio profitability, reserving
accuracy, and geographic or line-of-business exposure.

n Partner with underwriters, actuaries, and finance teams
 to ensure risk appetite alignment and pricing
 consistency.

n Contribute to risk modeling for catastrophe (CAT) events,
healthcare utilization surges, or adverse selection in
 blended insurance offerings.

Healthcare & P&C Integration

n Leverage knowledge of both healthcare and P&C claim
 ecosystems to identify cross-line risks (e.g., long-tail
 medical claims in liability coverage).

n Analyze claim duration, medical inflation trends, and
provider behavior affecting loss costs and reserve
 adequacy.

Compliance, Regulatory & Operational Support

n Ensure adherence to state and federal regulatory
requirements across NAIC, CMS, DOI, and ACA
standards.

n Support the submission of rate filings, actuarial

n Provide analytical support for vendor selection,
network optimization, or M&A due diligence
involving insurance portfolios.

Leadership & Collaboration

n Mentor junior analysts and lead cross-functional
working groups across underwriting, compliance,
and finance.

n Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on insurance
 analytics for both traditional and alternative risk
 structures.

n Collaborate with IT/data teams to improve data
architecture, governance, and reporting
 automation.
