Staff Accountant II

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

(a)    Manage end-to-end day today accounting for all the India entities. 
(b)    Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all the India entities.
(c)    Ensure compliance with tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and international tax laws for all the India entities. 
(d)    Oversee Invoices, PR, PO, Payments, and Accounting.
(e)    Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS standards.
(f)    Reconcile intercompany transactions and manage financial reporting.
(g)    Liaise with external auditors and consultants on tax and compliance matters.

Qualifications:

Must be a Chartered Accountant. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles, particularly within IT or software companies. Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, transfer pricing, and handling financial statements in line with Indian regulations and IFRS. Experience in using Oracle accounting software.

Skills:

(a) Analytical skills for financial reporting and problem-solving.

(b) Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with financial modeling.

(c) Knowledge of tax planning and compliance.

(d) Keen to learn and committed to being a long-term contributor.

(e) Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
